The dispositive issue in this appeal is whether Connecticut should continue to adhere to the unity of title doctrine. See Curtin v. Franchetti, 156 Conn. 387, 389, 242 A.2d 725 (1968). We conclude that it should not. Accordingly, we reverse the judgment of the trial court, which was compelled by its justified reliance on the doctrine as stated in Curtin.
